Rain guard awning rubber seal

Hi folks, I need to replace the rain guard awning rubber seal for both slides on our 2005 U320. Does anyone have the information  on where to buy the rubber seals and how they go on? Thanks Harvey

If the rubber seal from the awning to the roof, Foretravel of Texas has them.  They also have the slide scraper rubber, which break down over time.

If you are talking about the weatherstripping Girard Awning weatherstripping.jpg per the Girard (now Lippert) manual its attached with silicone.

I don't think it provides any seal, but it does prevent water from the roof from running behind the awning and down the side of the coach.

Have fun getting the old silicone sealant off. You will need to because nothing sticks to silicone including silicone.

Lots of elbow grease and patience with the help of wd40 took care of it.  I used lexel sealant and it's holding up great. That stuff can be applied over itself if needed.
