We're longtime (24 years) RVers and experienced Foretravel owners (13 years). We hired an inspector for our recent U320 purchase. There are just too many things to cover objectively and systematically if you are emotionally tied to the purchase.
That said, inspectors vary in "quality". We weren't impressed with the "RVIA" inspector who a potential buyer hired related to our LTV last year. I literally walked him through the entire coach, operating everything, right down to opening and closing each of the cabinets for him. He basically did nothing but follow me.
