Air bag replacement

Good Morning,
 
I have a1991 36ft Grand Villa U320 with a 6v92 Detroit. It had 319,000 miles when we bought it. We have been across the country a couple of times, it is close to 360,000 miles now, I hope to see another 100,000 or so. I want to replace the air bags and shocks I think they are the original equipment.

What would be the best alternative to the the Koni shocks and what air bags should I get? I am trying to do this without breaking our bank. Also wile reading some of  the forums I saw a possible issue with the unibody frame and the way the axel frames attach. This is new to me. Can anybody tell me how to detect the problem? It all looks good to me but I really don't know what to look for. We plan to travel to Clearwater Florida, from Quilcene Washington, for my wife's Synchronized Swimming Event,  about 3300 miles one way, in the middle of October and get back to Quilcene before the "SHTF".

Try getting the same part number air bag, search the forum there are at least 3 brands, get the Koni FSD shocks,what exactly do you mean by the frame/axle parts,and don't have a clue what a shtf is, if you mean the crap and the fan, what fan and what crap.

Did they make a U320 in 1991, maybe a U300?  Just want to make sure of the model / year before recommending parts.

I bought Firestone bags and replaced two keeping two more just in case on our U300. The rest are original 1993. My 1957 Buffalo Bus had air bags but I never replaced any. Continental (Conti) bags are available now with equal quality and usually much better prices. Hey, it's Japanese bags vs German bags but no idea where they actually are made. Lots and lots of posts, photos of changing bags on GVs with handy tips. Just do a search. And speaking of searches, check as many bag vendors as you can for best prices with shipping included in the delivered price.

Check the shocks to make sure you really need them.

I would get a member with a GV to take a look how extensive the belly corrosion is. This is petty important.

Check the restriction gauge on the Detroit air filter.

If you have a rear radiator, check the fan for cracks, etc as there are replacement fans available that don't come apart. If side radiator, check all hydraulic lines to make sure they don't rub on anything including each other.
