New to us IH-45 owners

We are just ecstatic to finally be Foretravel owners.  We recently purchased a pre-owned IH-45 and simply love it.  We look forward to meeting many of you down the road.

Congratulation on your new to you coach. I know when I got my 2014 IH I was overwhelmed with all of the systems and operation of the coach.  Over the years myself and a few others have learned about the different systems and have had conversations about them. If you have any questions about anything, ask here. Someone will chime in with the answer. A lot of the members on this site have older coaches then ours (mine and yours have just turned 10 years old now) but a lot of the  systems are the same.

If you have not joined the Foretravel Motorcade Club, you need to do that now. What it gets you is tech support from the factory, and 10% off on parts and labor.  There are a lot of items you can get straight from Foretravel that are cheaper then getting some other places.  The club has area chapters which most have a spring and fall rally. In October it when they have the GrandVention. This year it going to be in Kansas, October 22-25th. Next year it is going to be in Shawnee, OK Oct 14-17, 2025. During the Grandvention you  get to meet a lot of great people and you will learn a lot about the different systems on your coach.

I had forgot in my earlier post about the TSD / EFS card.  It gets you discounts on fuel at truck stops.  You have to have a checking account that they can draw from. We set up an account just for this and keep very little money in it.  Others will chime in with more of the details.


I had also forgotten to mention that when you buy items from Amazon with the link at the bottom of I believe now every page  now, Amazon sends a this website a commission that is no cost to you. In doing that you get this web site Ad FREE.

Thank you for the information.  I'll definitely look into the Motorcade; I thought it was just for rallies.
