Slide issue on a 2009 Nimbus CE 3820

My main slide will intermittently extend. I get the yellow light to blink and go solid. I hear the aux air compressor come on and run, I can hear the bladders (doing something). The pump light does not go on and the slide won't extend. I'll try it another day and it all works as it should. Retracting is not a problem. I did add HWH hydraulic oil to the tank and over-filled it a little (some oil leaked out). Had a rv tech come out and look at it while on the phone with HWH. Fuses (breakers?) are okay. Best they could think was the problem was the wiring harness. Anyone else have this issue? Ideas? Thank you.

Replace your solenoids. You have two of them one is for turning on the compressor  and one is Main  power.  I believe both are mounted to the hydraulic motor.  I bought two spares and carry them with me. I was told when one goes out the other is not far behind.

It will be Sunday before I can find the Amazon link to the solenoids.

Is it for the Blue Sea 9012?

I am getting the Blue Sea 9012 for my HWH power solenoid for the hydraulic pump. I had to replace the HWH ones about 6 years ago with new HWH ones. They are starting to act up again so figured I would get better solenoid this time around.

If so,

If the pump light is not turning on the pump is not being told to run. Something keeping it off. Check vacuum switches for bladders. Compressed air is used with a venturi to create vacuum to suck the bladders down. Also, if slides always retract but intermittently extend there could be problem with the leveling system. Needs to be level to extend but will retract regardless.

I had looked up the part # HWH was using and then found this solenoid.  It looks just like the one HWH uses.  I have not used it and it is sitting in my spare parts box. HWH uses on continues and the one of the hydraulic pump motor as non-continue but I got both continues ones. I guess when I ordered this one, I had forgotten about the blue sea one.  I bet the blue sea one is better but would take a little work since not an exact fit.

I had missed where the red light was not coming on. I think when the solenoid was going bad the red light was coming on but the pump motor was not running. In the newer slide modules they will check and make sure correct amount of vacuum before they let the yellow light go solid, so if yellow is solid vacuum to bladder is not the problem.  You might swap the front room control module with the back to see if the problem moves. I remember someone told me in the last year that they had a bad one and replaced the complete unit.

Sometimes on mine there is an unknown time delay for the pump to be turned on. I don't know why. Solid yellow light, push switch and hold for 5 or 10 seconds before pump action.

Same, sometime 10-15 seconds for my rear slides to start moving. Fronts seem to move quicker. But... I always run my rear ones first.
