Domtic Fridge model RM 3807


 Hello,    I have a 1984 Foretravel with a dometic Fridge model 3807 which has recently pooped out. I would like to purchase a used unit, a cooling unit or a replacement fridge that will fit the opening that the 3807 did. I  have noiced tha thee are 12 volt fridge units available that are recommended. Has anyone tried one of these, and do they work out as well as a gas/ 120 vot fridge does? Or what is the downside to this unit?

We have a Norcold 12 volt and love it. The down side the freeze only gets to about 5 degrees.
