Electronic Analyzer for U240

I am acclimating to the 1993 U240 with CT 3116 and Allison Transmission, and wondered if this coach has a receiver for an electronic engine/trans code reader or systems analyzer like the Prolink 9000 we used for the U300 Grand Villa. I am not at the coach right now and cannot look for a plug. In the U300, the receiver was under the dash to the left of the drive.
Any info will be appreciated.

Our 92 with 3116 has one below the transmission selector cabinet. No idea if it's helpful for data but if you find out anything, I'd be interested to know

I believe that is for the Allison.  Take a picture and compare with on line pictures of the Allison diagnostic tool.

Agree, just a plug for the Allison .  Your 3116 isn't computer controlled.

For the ProLink 9000 to work, it has to be paired with an electronically controlled engine and has to have a cartridge installed specifically for that engine. When I bought my ProLinks, they came with not only the Detroit cartridge but also Ford, Chevy and Dodge. The domestic cartridges are dirt cheap but the big diesels, Allison and ABS cartridges are much more expensive and hard to find. If the cable adapters don't come with the ProLink, they are made by several companies and not expensive if you look around.

They come with several possible names including MPSI, Kent Moore, Nexiq, etc. If buying for a Detroit 6V-92TA, all Foretravel 2 cycles are DDEC II so you would need a DDEC I , II or DDEC II, III cartridge.

Important to have the instruction manual for the specific cartridge as they may be hard for find online so make sure it comes with the unit.

ProLink is now owned by SnapOn but don't expect any kind of support from them.
