Ramco bottom convex mirror clips?

Do these clips look familiar to anyone?  We are missing one from our driver's side mirror.  I sent the photo to Brad at FOT parts, and he didn't recognize them.

Might try calling RAMCO to see if they have any ideas.  Looks like they are closed for the 4th.

Yup - that's why I asked FOT and then here  ;)  I was planning to order the tophats this week, and remembered that missing clip.

It looks to me like those clips are part of the plastic backing assembly.  You might have to buy the whole assembly from RAMCO.

Look at the photos of the different convex mirror kits on page linked below.  I don't know which one is correct for your coach.

Convex Glass – Ramco Engineering, Inc

There is a youtube video showing replacement of the convex glass.  If you look closely when they remove the old black "skirt" assembly, you can see two clips that look similar to what you are seeing on your mirror.

Chuck, you nailed it.  I definitely see those clips in both the video and on the convex glass page you linked.  I was looking via the "Mirror Parts" category, thinking it was some kind of small spring steel component.  Never thought it was a molded plastic and integral to the convex assembly.  More knowledge for the brain database!

ETA - a forum search comes up with 6000 series for the mirrors, which aren't on Ramco's site.

I just replaced one of my convex mirrors. Ordered it off Amazon RAMCO ENGINEERING SNP-GLS602WS-KIT RV CONVEX MIRROR GLS602 Amazon.com: RAMCO ENGINEERING SNP-GLS602WS-KIT RV CONVEX MIRROR GLS602 :.... The old one did not have the clips it was glued on with black Rtv silicone , to a  convex plastic backing.    The new one snapped on easily.  This was on my 2004 U270.

"GLS602..." part number checks with part number post from 7 years ago.  Seems the RAMCO 6000 series and 9000 series mirror heads are very similar.

Like Michelle noted up above, the RAMCO website no longer lists any parts for the 6000 series mirrors used on many Foretravel coaches.  It appears that the 9000 series is very similar in form and function.

On my 2000 both mirrors have a small L under there but no clip - wondering if they were glued on as part of a repair? Top hats were added to my mirrors at some point as well...

I have had great success with calling Ramco and telling them what year Foretravel I was working on and they supplied me with the parts, not cheap though.

Agree - while Ramco lists the "GLS602" part number at $41, they also want $39 for shipping.

I ordered one from Amazon.  FOT's price is a couple of $ less, but shipping would have put it at a net higher cost even with the "no tax on TN shipments with FOT.  If in NAC, FOT's going to be your best price at the moment.
