Dometic RM2820 circuit board

While on Subject of Dinasour boards, friend of mine Mel who has a 94 240 with Dometic RM2820 fridge that is not working( panel will not go on and no lights for anything to work) but has 120 going to board. I found one on their website as a replacement 3850712 01 but around $300 canadian. They also say they do not sell to public!!
Does anyone have any past comments on other makes from China etc as they are around $85.00
which seems a big difference.  P l us any comments on what may be wrong, if not the board.

Is there 12 volts on the board and the 12 volt fuse good? I am sure that you have already checked that.

Yes, checked the 2 glass fuses.
Hammer, that would be very good of you if you had one. Mailing of course is our cost as we live in BC.
