Ozone injector for fresh water tank??

I had a hot tub once that had an ozone generator/injector, and man did that thing keep the water clean and fresh without hardly any added chemicals.

Was wondering if anyone had tried one of those gizmos in their fresh water tank?  Mine is starting to smell a little ripe and I don't want to throw clorox or any other added carcinogens in there.

Most of the units I see on the jungle website for hot tubs are less than a benjamin.

I could plumb it into the defunct Javalina tank level sensor fitting port.  Whaddaya all think?  Honestly....

You may want to research what type of plastics will come in contact with the ozone you generate.  Many plastics are not compatable and leads to early breakdown and failure.

When we are using the coach, we always use the pump and fresh water tank. Thus, it gets refilled all the time. No stagnant water, ever.

Why not just clean the tank with a chlorine solution and then flush it out? Flushing it should remove any excess chlorine, and if you use the pump and tank exclusively, rather than running directly off the city water supply, there should be enough chlorine in the city water you fill with to keep it fresh.
