Setting up iPad for IH-45 coach systems [split from Re: Purchasing 2017 IH-45]

Have them set up your Ipad so it will work with the systems in the coach..

For others interested in the coach, I think it is this one.

Is This possible for my coach?  Thanks Turbojack.

Here is what I have. If you get  the parts and build the unit and set it up, I will send you my file and save you 6 months of programing for our IH coach.  The ervin was designed for Entregra coaches but I too that and make changes where it works for the Foretravel.  I am/was able to operate everything that you could operate from the switches for lights and shades along with water pump, TV lift and ??.  I did have the aquahot working but for some reason it is not working now. Not sure what I screwed up on that.  As long as you have internet to the coach you can access the website if you are in / near/ or away from the coach.  I have it on my phone, tablet and computer.

Thanks for the information.  A really vast of amount of information to digest.  I just took a  look at a few of the links you sent.  I will be reading all I can find.  I do have a history of working on small pc boards and other electronics.  Never been much of a programmer, just an operator.  The eRVin system you described looks like something I will enjoy tinkering with.

I have full time internet via a Verizon 5G Home internet that lives in my coach.  I can currently monitor and operate the 4 AC's and the Aqua Hot heating system from anywhere via the EasyTouch_RV App.  Works great.  I can change from AquaHot heat to Heat Pump remotely.  Lots easier than. the touch screen on the actual thermostat.

Thanks for you help on the forum.  It is great to have you share your efforts.

The problem is you can not turn on the burner or the electric elements from the thermostat app. This is where eRVin comes in. (That is unless when I break the code somehow)

Putting the parts together and loading the software is fairly simple as long as you follow the instructions. Node-Red takes a little bit to figure out but fairly easy.

OK, but I leave the burner selected and electric elements on all the time. As I understand it, the electric elements keep it hot and diesel burner only runs in high demand, like when my wife washes her hair.

By the way I have an app called RVC-air by Silverleaf. How does it fit into all this?  Or does it?

I have no idea what this is.  I have a Micro-Air thermostat that runs my AC and Heat which in my coach is not tied into the RV-C network
