Long term storage results

Not my intention but by circumstance I left my coach in storage outdoors for more than two years without  visiting it.

I had prepared for this eventuality.

3 solar panels. 1100 watt total. Magnum energy pt100 solar controller. Blue seas ACR auto connecting battery relay.  Magnum 2801 inverter charger with battery temp sensor. ME-ARC controller.

Batteries showed fully charged. Gen started right up. Aquahot diesel fired right up.

Not recommended just what happened.

Good coach. Not so good of an owner I guess.

Did not start motor. Next visit.

Coach had zero air. air bags had not dropped. No compressor on. No leaks

Does your model coach have the 12v compressor just air the bags? And if so could the bags been kept up by it?

My old x Foretravel mechanic buddy had carefully fixed all the air suspension leaks 12 years ago. The coaches air suspension has never leaked since. No compressor used or needed. Door 12v switch off.

Shame on you Bob for treating my old coach that way! Haha, just kidding, I know you must of had good reasons for not seeing her sooner. She is a great coach.

Bob, Sounds like she fared quite well.  Now I hope you get to exercise her a bit.

Yes I feel a bit guilty. Wife/ partner passed June 2013. Licked my wounds. I felt her presence when I walked into our coach today. Felt good. We put 40k miles on it since we took it over. Finally got it to drive like new as far as steering ease. Amazing piece of technology by Foretravel. 28 years later.
