Entry Door Roller Blind

So Google has failed me, the forum library loves new roller blinds, but my roller blind at the entry door is a '99 original!
It opens and closes beautifully, what it will not do is latch when it's pulled down fully at night and stay down.
Has anyone fixed one of these?
I sort of like it because it's original.

If you can identify the mechanism, you probably can replace the clutch.

If door one is the same as mine, which is a common blind you could buy one of them and remove your
material and put on the new roller blind and you would be good to go. The new ones can be cut to any
length.

That's true, think they have them at Lowe's, cut to fit. I always like to repair if possible

Is the shade mounted to the wall or the door?
If on the wall now, you might consider moving it to the door.

I did this mod some 15 years ago but it still works and you can easily open the door with the shade down.
