Rear engine cover bottom latch

I noticed my bottom latches do not latch on engine cover. I've attached pictures from both sides with the top half angled out and the bar that goes to bottom latch. Driver side has a spring hanging loose and spring is missing from right side bar. Not sure where the other side of the spring needs to attach to. Thanks in advance. 95 280

I'm not familiar with that devise but it looks like an anti-rattle devise the spring has come off the anchor screw on the arm and missing from the other side. Later models have a large plastic bushing for this. Jim.
