I think folks are afraid of the engine work that was done on it, along with the high reserve price.  And the front and passenger seats - were they actually "redone" or did that just get the quick fix $65 seat covers from Camping World?  But I have to say that the seller's feedback is not to bad.  Only 2 bad marks on his record.  I would want to have a good Cat mechanic check out the engine before bidding.

Oh, I am wondering why the mirrors are mounted way forward like they are.  Maybe that is a difference between the 225 and 240.  My 225 mirrors are mounted on the side.  It also appears to be missing the Hide-A-Table table top.

Depending on condition of tires, AC units, and suspension, it could be a
good buy in the mid 20s. With the 6 speed and the 3116 in a 36 footer I
would not be surprised at 11 mpg. They are asking $34.5K which would be
fine in a perfect coach with FBP...

Does anyone have any information on the 94 U-240 for sale in Ft. Meyers.
It went up on eBay after many listings on craigslist. Here's the eBay
 link. Thanks.

Pat, those mirrors, I believe were an option installed at manufacturing at FOT (may have been std eqpt on the U280 & U300 models.  They are the Ramco with electronic adjustment & defrost features.

I know it was listed for $34.5 on craigs but I was thinking maybe the reserve was lower. Who knows?
Re the inspection, that's the trouble with bidding on something far away.
Anyhow, I was just hoping someone on the group may have had the opportunity to look at sometime in the last couple of months. Could end up to be a good deal (or not!). Thanks, all.

Mine are too, but on the sides, not the front.  Ramco with electronic adj and defrost.

patc. I had a 94, U 240 and later a 95 (wide body) U 240. I had the Ramco electric mirrors  repositioned on both of them for better viewing area and for cosmetic reasons. I also replace the painted ones with brushed aluminum.
