Re: Do you full-time Reply #2 – June 21, 2010, 07:18:56 pm So only full-timers and those who plan to full-time should respond? We third- or half-time (roughly). Too many interests that really are best in a sticks-n-bricks home (I can't imagine bringing Steve's woodworking shop or my collection of baking/cooking/low n'slow barbecue equipment on the road )Michelle Quote Selected
Re: Do you full-time Reply #3 – June 21, 2010, 08:07:32 pm We full timed on a sailboat for 7 years in the caribbean & south pacific and in a Foretravel for the last 2 1/2 years. (Does the sailing time count? ) Quote Selected

Re: Do you full-time Reply #5 – June 21, 2010, 09:41:37 pm I am enoying the responses. Sandy and I have full-timed since September 8 of 2009. Michelle, sounds like you enjoy baking. If we ever spend any time in the same campground, maybe Sandy will bake some of her famous scones. You can ask Rudy Legett if Sandy can bake? And the guys at MOT and at Xtreme. She tends to spoil people we interact with. Quote Selected

Re: Do you full-time Reply #9 – June 22, 2010, 09:59:51 pm I've been full-timing 2 years in my U270, and my wife has been full-timing 4 years (1+ with me). So would that be 3 (average) or 6 (total)? Quote Selected

Re: Do you full-time Reply #11 – June 28, 2010, 04:45:54 pm We have been full time and have just started our 6th year, most of that in a 5th wheel and just bought our FT in March and has been a learning experience. Headed for another volunteer gig with Oregon Parks at Heceta Head Lighthouse as a tour guide for July. Looking forward to the coast. What a life. Quote Selected
Re: Do you full-time Reply #12 – June 28, 2010, 05:58:58 pm Thought about it but there is no way- too many toys. My 750 sq ft. garage is full and there is only one car in it. The bass boat and coach are in a storage lot. Quote Selected
Re: Do you full-time Reply #14 – June 29, 2010, 11:39:13 am We've lived in ours full-time for 8 yrs. and LOVE our first and last Foretravel. The only area we've not seen is the nerth-west. We have a beautiful country. Quote Selected
Re: Do you full-time Reply #15 – June 29, 2010, 03:31:55 pm There may more choices toward the full timing question, For us, I spend more time in the U320 than the house, travel a fair amount in it, but guess not full timers. put 12k + miles per year, but keep it in the garage alot too hooked up to the Directv on garage roof and the 50 amp electric, stays ready to fly at a moments notice.
