Entrance Handle Light Bulb 1995 U320

I need to replace the lighted entrance handle light bulb on our 1995 U320. I think I've read that it's either an 1156 or 1157 but I'd to have the proper replacement on hand before I disassemble it. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Probably an 1141 or could be a 194. It is very simple to take apart and then you will know for sure. Also sometimes the socket is no good. It can be replaced with a new socket. Over the years it has probably been replaced several times.

Probably some variation in bulb sizes used in different model years, as well as changes made by previous owners if they had to replace the socket.
Agree with Ron - best to remove the old bulb and measure the base, just to be sure.

I don't want to hijack this post but I'm taking my handle apart and trying to get the light in the handle to work.  The green wire is not attached in the lower portion of the handle and wondering where it should attach and if acts like a ground to activate the handle light?

Check the wire with a multimeter to see if it is connected to ground.  If it is grounded then add a ring terminal and attach it under the bottom mounting screw.

Kind of what I was thinking, thanks!

I might be wrong, but I think that is the "sense" wire for the Touch-lite module.  It should make contact with the lower housing.  If I recall, the stripped wire was just squeezed under the handle housing to make contact; there's no terminal and a ring terminal might prevent the handle from mounting flush.  Yes, it's a bit hokey, but I don't think Foretravel had a choice if they wanted to use the Touch-lite and that style handle.

In case your not familiar, the Touch-lite module functions when you touch the lower housing the door lights (above the door and the handle light) should go on for a few minutes and then automatically go off.

Ours is possessed. Sometimes it comes on, sometimes it does whatever it wants to do. Maybe Roger Berke , previous owner has some kinda powers over us
