"I changed my oil" or "I put air in my tires" doesn't do anything for me but there are some very interesting threads in the bigger post.  For example, we just made a tow skirt based on the information that started out in a "What did you...." thread.  I'd say let it run so people can post if they want but encourage members to start a new thread if the topic is not day-to-day activities.  I just made some modifications to our dinette, so in a few days, I will start a new post and throw in a couple of pictures in case members are interested.

Today in Tucson, I am cleaning and reorganizing all my pantries ... long overdue!  Jeff poked his head in the front door from outside and said,"Carol, I need you to take a look at our neighbors, across the way."  I stepped outside and took a look.  Now ... it is 2PM, 95 degrees, with bright sun and an intermittent breeze.  The coach is fairly dark in color and the roof does not appear to be painted.  The woman is on her hands and knees ON that roof, with a large sun hat, a basket of rags and what appears to be a bottle of wax.  She is busily rubbing and scrubbing, and has been at it for some time.  "You see!", he says to me ... "He has his wife VERY well trained!  YOU could be up on our coach doing that!"                          My response was unprintable.

Carol - don't you guys have roof coating so you don't NEED to wax the roof?  Perhaps you should have told her about the forum and the current topic discussing roof coatings :))  It would have been the FoFum thing to do ;)

Yes ... we certainly do have the roof painted, Thank Goodness!!  I am trying to figure out what their SOB is ... and I may wander over and see them later ... but if she is nuts enough to get on that roof and and wax away in the first place, I don't hold out any hope that she's gonna want to hear from me.  They appear to be excruciatingly tidy people ... she may wax the seat on her commode, as well.  Ya just never know with people!

Replaced B/R 15" TV with a Samsung 24" LED TV.
All I needed to do was move the TV mount over a few inches and drill new mounting holes on the mount as they were different on the new TV.

Cleaned out all the bays and storage areas and washed the coach.

Changed oil and Filter in Generator.

Went to Harbor Freight and picked up 2 - 12 ton Bottle Jacks just in case. Good Price $29.99 ea

Barry, are you going to carry the bottle jacks with you. I carried one in the coach for four years and the only time I touched it was to get it out of the way.

I agree, but for now I will carry them. The other day while working on the air lines I could not raise the bag on one side. I wasn't sure how I was going to get underneath the coach to work on the problem.
Fortunately I could raise the opposite side and was able to squeeze under and work on it.
So I decided I better pick up the bottle jacks just in case it catches me unprepared on the road.

Upgraded our Dish Network DVR system. We have had a VIP 722 DVR for several years and it would get so hot it would shut off.
A few days ago we had Dish come out and install their Hopper/Joey equipment. The Hopper component sits where the 722 was, is just enough smaller to allow the cabinet door to close completely, and seems to run cooler.
The Joey part is much smaller, is installed on the wall behind the BR TV, and connects to the Hopper with the existing coax cable.
This thing is great. I don't know why we didn't jump on this much sooner. Because we have an equipment service plan with Dish and agree to continue it for 4 months, the service call was free. The equipment is free, but is leased and that increased our bill $10/month (we owned our 722 outright). We also agreed to a two year contract.
Rockey loves it. She can record ALL of the four prime time channels from 7 to 10 PM 7 nights a week. Then she deletes what she doesn't want and for those she does watch, it "hops" over the commercials! Such a deal.

I had a DVR burn out in that cabinet due to the excessive heat so I put a muffin fan in that cabinet blowing on the DVR and it made a big difference. I also put a thermostat on it to turn it off wen it was cooler.

Barry, it is RF197.  It is the biggest that will fit with the intellic on the bottom and in the small space I had to put it in.  I think it will work just fine.  Dick Henry put the same one in his Nimbus.  Dave M put a bigger one in but it would not fit in this coach so we chose to put in the RF197. I had David and Brent measure before I ordered it when I was here in January.  It barely fits but it fits. It took a full day to make it fit.

Barry, we saw your fan and thermostat setup. We copied it. ;D
And we went through two 722s quickly. The 3rd one lasted about four years, probably thanks to the fan.

I put a muffin fan in as well. It works with the louvered doors to keep that area cooler.

Just a question Scott:  Did you and Carol both pass your Class B driver's test for the coach, or was this just a regular automobile driver's exam?  If the former, that is indeed quite an accomplishment and hurdle to have behind you.
