Country Coach of Oregon for repairs?

Hi - I was wondering if anyone had used Country Coach of Oregon for repairs recently? I need to have the air bags replaced on my 2000-U270 & will be going thru there heading south. 8)

Worth a call, they have had their problems and I'm not sure what kind of service they do. A call to Marathon might help, also.

We have used both Oregon Motorcoach Company and Country Coach in Junction City, OR.  We were happy with both.  OMC adjusted our shocks.  CC traced a battery issue.  We would not recommend OMC for remodel as, though they did a good job installing the frig, Jim had to, in the evenings, do the prep work as they were just screwing around and they were slow and expensive.

We had the same problems with the Airstream. I think our high-end coaches scare the techs, even though parts are parts!  :'(

Not sure where you are, but the last time we went thru Spokane, WA on the border into Idaho on I-90, there was a Foretravel dealer. Good luck!

Hey Kids, any Freightliner Dealer can do most mechanical repair on a Foretravel since they are owned bt FL.

Fredi,

NO, there has never been any kind of relationship between Freightliner and Foretravel.

Where in the world did you get that???

BTW, what Foretravel do you have?

Fredi, are you saying that they will work on our coaches even though they are Frieghtliner and we do not have any dealings with them.  I know that FT is building a few of the command coaches on a FL chassis but last I heard, they only work on Freightliner products.

Freightliner is a subsidiary of Daimler AG.  No mention of Foretravel at Freightliner or Daimler web site.
Daimler Trucks | Daimler > Company > Business Units > Daimler Trucks Please provide a source so that we can review this interesting turn of events. Seems odd, I was at Foretravel twice today, no identification re Freightliner anywhere.
I take it you are new to these parts?  😎  do you own a Foretravel? If so please add the information to your profile.

Correct.  Freightliner bought Oshkosh. No Freightliner connection to Foretravel.  Yes, a LONG time ago (I believe 1993 was the last year) Foretravel did offer coaches (ORED's) on Oshkosh chassis.  None since then and never on Freightliner.

Foretravel has only been owned by two groups:  C. M. Fore and the group under Lyle Reed who bought it from Mr. Fore.

No correlation between the two Fredi.

Back to the orginial question, County Coach does really good work, I have no problems going there. BTW,  I was told by the Freightliner Dealer in Redding that they now own FT, that was atleast 3 years ago.
Any large truck (Peterbuilt, etc.) outlet can service/troubleshoot the undercarrige, most of us know that. The tricky part is finding an outlet that understands high-line coaches after LOF, etc. By the way, what sort of coach are you driving,Fredi?  ::)
