Does anyone have any knowedge or opinions on the coach referenced via this link?

It is being sold by a dealer. Not likely they would price it this low unless there were issues.

That's what I was thinking. Also 20,000 miles for a 14 year old coach is a little ridiculous. On the bright side, Washington state is only 2500 miles from me, so maybe I'll stop by on my way home from work.

It is in Eugene, OR and for sale by a dealer. They have lowered the price once. I would call and see what the story is. Sometimes dealers have no idea what they have or they pretend not to know. It could be a bargain. Probably needs tires, maybe batteries and a complete maint workup.

Hard to know, but there other items listed showing damage, and more. Hope this is a deal for someone, as I like the coach. Sure would hate to hear it has a soiled title. Too nice a coach to have that happen. Let's hope someone gets a bargain and joins the Foretravel family of happy owners.

Ad seems to be not responding. I tried to "buy it now" to see what happened. Nothing did. "Site unresponsive".

On the bottom of his web page, a Prevost and airstream with damage. Never showed pictures of pass side of coach

Curious omission. But (FWIW) it is listed as having a clear title.

Take look at the feedback on Ebay. He sells 1157 and 194 bulbs to get ratings.

Huge red flags on the seller. Request to use the phone number in the ad (vs. using eBay to contact), collection of atypical items (history is selling bulbs, no vehicles, now suddenly only items are a handful of vehicles). Items are in different locations. Sold items shows some of the same items multiple times. Could be a hacked eBay account.

Google images for NCAuto in Eugene, Oregon do not instill confidence.

Their location is just a couple of blocks from the auto auction, how perfect. Seems the aerial view shows they have a bunch of coaches, and most with slides out. Might be the deal of the week.

So having spent 45 years in the car business, the tags on the coach are very clear. Anybody have connections with Oregon DMV.??

The Craigslist ad says it has walnut interior, but the pictures sure look like cherry wood to me.

We have been watching this coach's progression down hill in price, finally went and looked at it Wends. the 25th.
The dealer had taken it over to a RV repair shop to check things out and told me that he isn't gonna lower the price or put any more money into it.
The roof needs a re-paint and caulk, has chalky streaks, and has a few minor "dings on the corners of the coach
It has a bad slide bladder that leaks so much that he had to shut off the air supply to it, also the house batteries are DOA with the chassis batteries dead as well, could not get it to start the gen set or the main engine.
All hoses and belts in the engine compartment look to be factory originals.
I could not get the door opened for the gen set due to no power. no idea what the hour meter indicates.
For the same reason could not verify speedo miles or engine hours, would not surprise me that it hasn't even had the oil or filters changed since new, didn't see any stickers indicating other wise.
Steer tires are dated '15 but the drive & tag tires look to be dated '05
No air pressure so could not see bulkheads,shocks or air bags
The water & elect hose reels seem to be missing the on/off buttons, may be reduced to a "hand job"
The interior looks ok but very dated with what looks to be all original electronics including TV's and convection oven..No updates that I could see..... & what's with the dog poop brown shag carpet???

If We can come to some terms will be putting a down on it shortly.

For those interested..
Premier in Junction City, OR has a former Motorcade coach (on consignment I think)
2004 36' 295 with 2 slides, looks really sharp and clean with updates everywhere. $129k?
And Geo. Sutton in Eugene has a former Motorcade coach for sale as well.
2000 320 single slide (rebuilt) but high miles on it (288k?)

You seem to very interested in this coach. I would encourage you to at least insist on having batteries installed so you can start the big engine and the generator. There is NO way to get even a rough idea of the condition of this coach without running the engines, and hopefully driving it. Unless you are a fully qualified all-around RV repair technician, you could be buying yourself a LOT of very expensive repair bills. Getting any RV worked on at $100 per hour shop time adds up quickly. Blindly buying a coach that could possibly need repairs to every major system is, IMO, just asking for trouble.

Oregon Motorcoach in Eugene is a Foretravel factory authorized service center. We had some work done there on our last trip to the West coast. They seem to run a very competent operation. If you could get the coach running and moving and take it by their shop, they might give you their opinion on its overall condition.

I'm not saying you should not buy this coach. You might luck out and get a really good deal. I'm only saying that unless you have unlimited funds, before signing on the bottom line, you should have a clear understanding of what it will take (i. e. how much it will cost) to get the coach back to 100% road worthy condition.

Maybe have one of those big tow trucks stop by when you're there and help jump start it. They would have heavy duty starting equipment for truck engines. There is a chance the batteries might come back...maybe not...

I agree with Chuck that you want to at least run engines and air up. Write that requirement in your purchase agreement.

Before we found Moby, I looked at a Beaver Marquis at this outfit. The dealer isn't an RV dealer, he's a flipper. The lot had cars and boats and RV's and all manner of stuff. The Beaver was a credit union repo. I suspect he frequents that auction yard. Fine and good but don't expect any manner of dealer service and support. I did not get any impression that he was dishonest or anything like that, just that his business model is inventory turnover and nothing else. I passed on the Marquis. because it was not driveable at the time either.

Start and run was what's needed.

I prefer coaches personally that need everything. Then I can run the good out of the new stuff.

Yea I understand it could be $20-30k.

Do you like the floorplan?
