Looking EBay I found a 34' U270 for sale, but there seems to be so many red flags. I am unsure if links are allowed l, so you'll have to look it up.
This appears to be three different motor homes.
Picture 1 is a stock photo (without permission) from Motorhomes of Texas of a a 40' Foretravel U320 with upgraded round headlights from Xtreme.
Picture 3 shows a 34' Foretravel U270 with the standard square headlights.
Pictures 3 and 7 show a large round decal near the roofline and pictures 4 and 8 show that they are missing.
The oval FMCA placard is displayed in picture 7, but not in picture 8.
No VIN is listed on the EBay listing or on the seller website. The 'View Report' is inactive.
The feedback rating is currently Negative One.
NADA Guides list this as a Low Retail of $17,250 which is a far cry from $55,000.

Nada requires adding every single item in the equipment list.

That's the way the banks lend. It's to establish the value to auditors.

All the added items could have been deleted when ordered

Not defending the guy, haven't seen it.
Nada is for banks to loan on. Motor homes, boats and RV's in general, go for whatever the market will bring. The book on our 97 U295 is about 17-20K. I was happy to pay more then double that, and consider I got a deal.
Sold our 97 Dutchman for 19K in the fall 1st person,had people all over it, bank said 11K
Just sold our 95 pontoon boat for 10K, first day, 1st person. Full ask.Had 4 people in line. Bank said 7K
Sold a 01 Tioga last Spring for 18K. Bought it Friday, sold it Saturday. Bank said 9K
I have turned down several offers on out 02 Wrangler for double book.That is what they go for. It's the market that dictates price's

What's worse, the mix of photos from multiple coaches, or the single (from last year) feedback, as negative as you can get:

This coach has been on Craigslist for a month or two in Stony Point New York. Spoke with the older couple who own it. As many of you know PopsRV is a "remarketer" that contacts sellers and will expand marketing for a fee. Not sure why they'd use a front end picture that's not correct.

If you search craigslist for Hudson valley you'll see the listing and can get owners phone number. They will email pics.

If that's the case then popsrv could care less wether it sells or not,they get the fee.I think the owner could make a case that pops
cost them potential buyers.

I talked to the owners of this coach also, about a year ago.They were nice.The coach is legit.
Just deal direct. It was all over the internet, I saw it on RV trader

Owner or lister the pics are all wrong. There are multiple coaches in the pics, both

interior and exterior. Any serious buyer should hear alarm bells ringing from this ad.

You see this all the time on Craigslist, but not much on eBay. I've seen the same RV listed multiple times on far different locations, using old photos from a legitimate RV seller, often a mishmash of photos. Buyer beware.

There are so many knowledgeable people on this board. It amazes me that some of you knew about the coach and have already interacted with the owner. I will be getting my Foretravel after the kids are out of college and am glad to have this forum as a resource.

Googling "rebuilt title" one finds a lot of cautionary information. Here's one example Jalopnik article

ETA since it is in Indiana, here is Indiana's info on rebuilt titles. https://www.in.gov/bmv/files/Salvage_Restoration_Packet.pdf Similar to the Jalopnik article mentions, it looks like all one had to do to get the "rebuilt" title is 1) show it was a salvage titled vehicle, 2) submit an odometer affidavit, 3) prove you legally owned the parts used to rebuild it. There is no guarantee of rebuild quality or safety implied.

I posted several items of farm equipment on Craig's List this morning since I am having to slow down soon.

Out of 12 ads there were text messages on 9 of them from California area codes. All about the same,

personal cashiers check in mail, please hold it for 15 days for check to arrive. Please send more pictures, send

your bank account number for money transfer, etc. The ad stated 'local only, cash sale, due to scammers' but that

had no meaning to them. VERY FRUSTRATING what this world has come to. We may talk slow in Texas but that

doesn't mean we think as slow.

All states are different when titles for damaged vehicles or insurance "totaled" vehicles are issued. My last coach (93 Gulfstream) had a salvage certificate when I bought it at auction. In Colorado it has the words "rebuilt from salvage" stamped into the door frame, and the title says salvage. It had a broken taillight lens that was difficult to find so the insurance company totaled it, thus a salvage title. If a vehicle is totaled in Colorado by hail, state law prohibits a salvage title.The state patrol must inspect salvage stamped vehicles from out of state, or vehicles with a salvage certificate. The amount of damage doesn't determine title status, the insurance companies do. Two cars cut in half and super glued together with no insurance total payout would have a clear title. My U295 was purchased with a salvage title do to an electrical fire involving half of the engine wiring. The insurance company didn't want to fix it because it was a result of a bad repair of the same damage a few months earlier. It is a super nice coach, and the wiring is now like OEM or better. When I sell it the stigma of the title will effect the value, but a coach with major bulkhead issues repaired to the same standard as my wiring will not be salvage because insurance was not involved. The moral of the story is look carefully at whatever you buy, and do not let paper control your decision. Great records do not make a great vehicle, it's care and repair do.

I highly recommend NOT putting your phone number in any CL ads. Make them Email you. I am still getting about 10 bogus calls a week from last year.
I have no problem with email contacting each other, until you are comfortable to give out your number.
Remember, they have to have internet to start with, to see the ad.

I called that guy and talked to him about 2 years ago,he was working on the hyd. jack,he was the one who bought it with the
current title but he could not tell me why it had that kind of title,sounded kind of fishy.
