Just emailed seller to find out if this is just a picture he took off the internet or actual picture of the coach. There is a phone number so I don't think scam just maybe used wrong picture.

I don't put much faith in Craigslist ads with really good prices, minimal description, and only one (exterior only) photo.

Presence of a phone number means nothing.

Not sure on that area but I get leary (no pun intended Mike)when it's in Michigan and palm trees are in the picture,or in Key West
and snow on the ground.

There is an ongoing scam of motorhomes listed on Craigslist with a single picture and poor, uninformed description. One traces to a cell number in New York. Advertises locally but coach always somewhere else. Price always too good to be true. I called on one and learned to spot them. They never have interior photos.

The area code in the ad is for Klamath Falls and it Does give the first name of the gentleman selling. The phone goes to voicemail and I didn't leave a message , but Pierce did.

I talked to Dave, the owner, for a while. It's a front engine 440 Dodge with an Onan generator where the grill is on the side in back. It was owned by the University of Alaska with a professor doing research out of it.

I gave him my address for photos and invited him to join the forum and post info about it.

Will upload any photos I get.

This is possibly the worst advertisement of a foretravel I have seen yet... pics takes in the dark? Maybe left a couple 0's off the asking price? Advertised in colorado but really in Wyoming? If there were ever a scam post.. it could be this.

BUT just maybe it's real?

I called him... it's sold but the add hasn't disappeared yet. There was a typo. It sold for 6k!

I have talked to the owner. The coach is on an Oskosh chassis V815 which has springs for suspension, hydraulic brakes and 8.2 Detroit engine. This coach would be like the one that nitehawk has. When I was working for Foretravel. I thought that I would get one when I retired as they are a very simple coach to work on, but things worked out differently so I did not. They are a good coach, just not the fastest to the top of big hills.

So, 210 HP DD 8.2 liter 4 stroke V8. NOT 300 HP! 300 HP from that engine would not be good news.

That is correct. From the pictures it looks pretty good. I live about 100 miles away from where it is. It has been for sale for a while. Think he lives around Ft Myers.

I don't see U300 anywhere on the coach, no 5" chrome exhaust the 2 cycles have and I've never seen a single stainless bumper U300 with the low compartments.
