This just happened

I ordered this camera, because I have an extra input on my monitor. I am going to add another monitor later. I thought I could mount the camera on the side fender, but it had to mount vert. or horizontal. So this is how I did it. Running the wire through the mirror was fun, but only had to drill one hole in the bottom of the mirror.
It actually looks better in person, then in the pictures.
Like $22.00 delivered from China.
Love it.

You bet Ken
It came out of China. No instructions. But that is no biggie. If you get one PM me, I can give you a few things I figured out on my own about it.

What's that blue car on the lift, under the tarp?  Perhaps a GM "A" body?

That would be a 73 B5 Cuda, 340 6 pack 4 speed. Owned 35+ years.Below it is a 71 dart swinger, wife's car.Ex drag car. The "GM" Camaro is in the front garage.I married into that one. She's drives the Camaro and Dart daily. Then there is Barbie the race car. We sold the Chrysler 300 to a collector last year. Dads car, wasn't the same without him.

I am a unemployed panhandler drag racer, on social security. This is our 401K sitting there....LOL
Actually, they were all bought back when you could buy a muscle car for real money.....None of them were big projects either.A paint job back then was 500 to a grand. Now that won't buy you sand paper. It's like 10K for paint, and that's if it's not rusty!

If it makes you feel any better, I would walk right past the Camaro with only a casual glance, and then spend the next hour dribbling spittle on your B5 Cuda.  I always loved that color.  In late 1969, the week before I shipped out for SEA, I stepped into a Dodge/Plymouth showroom in Abilene, TX.  They had a B5 Hemi Cuda on display in the middle of the showroom, and I fell instantly in lust.  Couldn't afford it, of course, and anyway no place to store it while I was gone overseas.  But for the next year, that car was a major player in some of my most memorable wet dreams...

We used to run braces from the front bolt on frane/ suspension clip on Camaros to the firewall to reduce the front suspension deflection on turns at speed.  Four bolts and rubber biscuits allowed too much movement if you were picky.

Bought an old X frame 58 corvette for a stiffer chassis car,  58 olds/Pontiac/Buick underneath basically.

And you could pull the pan straight down on the vette'.  No cross member under the motor

When I 1st got the Cuda, went to Fremont to a mopar drag race. There was a 71 hemi 4spd coupe all restored for sale. 8K. I thought well, I'll have 8K in this one when I am done, maybe I should just buy that one. Had the money. But it was bronze with white interior and a white top, couldn't get past that so I passed. They went to 75K the next year, and I don't need to tell you where they are now. Hemi Converts, all 15 of them are north of 3 mil, if your lucky to even find one for sale! I would have never enjoyed that one, like i do this one. I drive it, and don't worry.
I love all cars. Fortunately the 69 Camaro is one of my favorite body styles. I always razz people about Chevy's
This was my daily driver in the late 60's. made lots of dough. 389 Pontiac engine, with a chevy 4 spd. So I lived on the dark side once.

You want to talk about the "Dark Side"...I was into BUICKS.  My last street/strip car was a '71 Buick Skylark GS (clone).  Pump-gas 468 Buick, manual-shift TH350 with 10" converter (3500rpm stall), 12-bolt 4.11 posi-track.  All the good engine and suspension stuff.  I liked to remove the hood and drive it around town - gave all the ricers a hard time.  It was STRONG off the line and across the intersection!

Way cool. We have a turbo Grand Sport that runs low 9's at out 5K altitude track. Looks stock. I like Buick's...We has a 57 Anglia in H/S with a buick in the front seats. Straight axle etc. here is a picture of a very similar one, blue and all. Not the car, but very close.Ours had  Jardine fender wheel headers. Jerry Jardine made them for us back in the day.

Jerry Jardine made my exhaust for my 427 installation in my 58' vette in 1967.  Moved the battery to the trunk and the headers were not visible as they did not cut the inner fender.  Stealth car.

2750 pounds and a 57 Pontiac 3:08 rear gears housing.

50 in first. 100 in second.  150 in third.  I stopped at 165 in fourth at 5,700 rpm.

Xrayed race tires.  Body off frame.  Velvet touch metallic brakes
