What are these switches for?

Anyone know what these two switches under the dash and behind the gauges are for?

One appears to be a 3 way and the other is just a standard switch.

The Austin coach, 2000 GV320 just returned from a 4200 mile trip of the Utah NP and had great luck and no problems other than several user created problems.  Who knew if you leave the AH engine heat button on all day you will have to fight the engine heating up all day.  Never got over 210 but I was downshifting all day.  Never realized it until I went to turn it on that evening. 

Definitely need to get the dash air working.  I had a box fan but in 85 degree afternoons of all day driving going back east it got warm while driving even with the generator running and coach a/c on.  Any suggestions on A/C repair and diagnostics? and what to look for?  When I bought it in Jan I knew the Compressor belt was gone and AC Compressor was most likely fried.

Three switches under dash cover?

Maybe others will chime in, but I don't see how having the Aqua Hot engine heat on would cause over heating. The thermostat on the diesel side is 170 deg and electric 180 deg. both are under engine overheating temps. When the engine is running the same hoses heat the Aqua Hot from the engine.

I agree with Craneman, would just be circulating eng coolant through AH. Might damage AH circulation pump if the flow was in the opposite direction. I have been guilty of leaving that switch on myself and didn't notice any increase of eng temps

Do a forum search for 'under dash switches'. Lots of info. flash codes for engine & transmission.

Is 205ish running too hot or overheating?  Not sure what it would have been if not that.  1st day was from Farmington NM to Santa Rosa with a 4 hr stop in Santa Fe, NM with AH engine heat on and was fighting to keep temp down at 205 or below.  Continued on I40 east for the next two days with AH off and no engine heat up and it stayed around 185-190 most of the day to around 195 at the end of 600m.  The Farmington to Santa Rose didn't seem like it had any more hills than normal?  Any Ideas of suggestions appreciated.  Daytime temps got into the high 80's.

Are you talking about Aquahot heat on to engine when driving?? Why?  That has basically a "pre-heat" function. Think of it as a "block heater by a different mother".  That would certainly add to the heat load which would both run coolant hotter and cost you MPG and HP as the fan would be on HIGH.

If this is not what you  are referring to, please let us know.

You are correct Brett, and I didn't do it on purpose ;D , didn't realize it until the end of the day that I had left it on.

Sounds like a good place for an ignition lockout on that 12v pump/switch. I'm sure I'll forget it too someday, added to the list.
