You guys are killing me with the out of state costs. Fueled yesterday at the TA in Livingston Ca. on Hwy 99. Pump $3.87 TDS $3.43. Pumped 107 gals. I'll take it. Further it's a piece of cake. Everything can be done from the pump, including the $200 ATM function. ( Have to go inside to get the cash ).

Yikes!
If I have to pass through Cali, I just put in the minimum fuel. The fill up out of state. We fill up at the bottom of Oregon, and can make it all the way to Arizona.

We avoid The Golden State entirely whenever possible.  Saves taking a beating to our suspension.  We go east out of Oregon and drop south through Nevada.  Not as scenic, but better roads (and cheaper fuel).

That would be a nice ride. Normally it's winter, so not much choice. We do come home through Vegas and Montana, would love to go down the way it's actually shorter on 15, but the passes are impossible that time of year..
Cheers

Used new card today for first time. $3.23 at pump $2.72 with discount. Saved just under $50 on 98 gallon top off in South Carolina off I-95. Impressed. DW promptly spent twice that at Walmart. Oh well, easy come easy go

Yes, it's great, first time we got 50cent a gallon off, and at the cheapest truck stop (a Petro) crossing through Arkansas, which brought our diesel down to $3.19 a gallon.
This is our first 50 cent a gallon, normally it has been 30 to 40 cent off.
On that fill of 99.5 gallons it made a huge difference.
The next cheapest place going west was "guess", yes, Nacogdoches, where we are getting a few small things done at MOT, time to make the Javalina gauges obsolete, and despite the Trick-L-Charge a new set of batteries (forget the red tops, had nothing but trouble),
Keith is our tech today.
Then we are off to Waco for the DW to see Chip and Joanna's silos, followed with Austin at Lake Travis and on down to San Antonio before heading back to Ohio for the Winter!
We have had the fuel card from the start and have never had a bother, best thing we got for the RV (thanks Rudy 😊)

I think you are heading the wrong way this time of year!

But, maybe I am turned around......

When you go to the Silo's just don't look at the price tags, You may faint. But it is a nice experience, their restaurant (Magnolia Kitchen) was good and reasonably priced.

And I'm with Brett. You came south to swelter in humidity then back north to freeze your tail feathers?????

Hey Bigdog, we will be passing through Waco in our travels to and from FOT in the next few weeks.. anywhere to park a MH and toad near the area. Would be nice to go there while passing thru rather than spend a day traveling over there and back from FOT while we wait for our repairs...

We camped at midway park campground, run by the Army Corps of Engineers at Waco Lake. Very nice and just on the edge of town.

Old Guy. If you are referring  to the TSD card there are no discounts in Canada. The best you  can do is a Good Sam discount  at the J

There is a nice COE park (Jim Hogg) next to Georgetown, about an hour away from Waco.  There is also a Texas Ranger Museum in Waco.  We got our pictures taken with Chip and Joanna (cardboard cutouts) at the Visitors Center.  If you want a cupcake at the bakery, good luck.  Waco was a fun visit, there is more than C&J there.
