I removed the system from our coach ( ABS) last year because it was causing REAL issues with the Allison. Seems if you cook the brakes which in turn would most likely cook the sensors also,, that event tells the Allison to not lock up in 4th and not even shift into 5th or 6th. Yes it was a real mystery for a week or so. James at FT said , if you suspect it's the abs just unplug it. I did and problem solved.
I'm thinking it's ( abs ) is only valuable if sliding to a stop or spinning in the snow and I doubt I'll be doing either one of those so it's gone. And besides, the only part that still available is the sensor. If something malfunctions with the brain your done. Took out the brain to make room for the 8 new lithium batteries.
Bottom line FOT had the sensors when we had brake work done there 2 years back......
