New-To-Me Kool Tool

Saw this air chuck advertised in the latest (Jan-Feb 2021) issue of Escapees magazine.  Looks like it would be very handy for inflating all kinds of tires.  I already have a very nice combo tire inflator/pressure gauge but have never found one single multi-purpose air chuck that works well on all the tires (coach, tow dolly, cars, bicycles, tricycles, hand carts, garden carts, etc) that I need to keep inflated.  Hoping this might THE ONE!

We'll see...  I'll report back to this thread with a "user review" after it arrives next week.

The tire chuck alone (without gauge or inflator) was $25.16 (zero tax + free shipping) after applying the 10% discount coupon.

Note:  I have no connection to or financial interest in the maker or seller of this product.

I'm very interested after struggling with my third air chuck. Was going to order one myself.

I bought one of the JACO chucks a few month back. I like it. The lock feature is nice as it allows me to not have my head right next to the tire as I am filling it. I put it on the end of a 6 foot leader hose attached to my trigger inflator. The pivoting head makes it easy to access my inward facing stems.

On the department, we used Milton dual air chucks.
I have one like that but it doesn't work well on smaller wheels where it is difficult/impossible to get a straight shot at the valve.

My current solution is a female quick connect on my air hose, and male quick connects on about 4 or 5 different air chucks.

I am hoping to avoid the hassle of multiple chucks...hence my interest in the JACO.

I have  one of these. Seems to work fine on everything I need it for, coach, tractor, cars, bikes.  Latches on to stems reliably. You have to hold the trigger, but that's OK, makes me pay attention.

I've been using a Jaco Flowpro digital inflator with their lock on chuck.  Works great except on the first one the gasket on the chuck blew out and I lost it.  Contacted them and asked if they could send me a new chuck, they sent me a new Flowpro. Gotta love when a company stands by their products.

So, as promised, here is my "User Review" of the Jaco air chuck.

Lightning™ T-Series Tire Air Chuck | Open Flow, 1/4" F-NPT

In a word: EXCELLENT!!!  This is the most versatile air chuck I have ever used.  It appears to be very well made - excellent fit and finish and very sturdy.  It does exactly what I was looking for: adjusts to the perfect angle for every Schrader valve in my fleet.  It locks on the valve stem every time, does not leak, and releases instantly with a push of the button.  I believe I have finally found the ONE tire chuck for every tire I own.

Photos below of two wheels/tires which often give me a problem due to their size and design.  The large one is a 20" wheel on a electric trike.  The small one is a 12.5" wheel on a electric bike.  The Jaco chuck worked perfectly on both of these wheels, AND on every other vehicle we own.

Okay Chuck you lured me to buying something I pretty much have managed for years without. I must say that your right it works real well. Has a double serrated jaw that clamps into the valve core stem threads. Couldn't find a pressure rating but saw them on there 160 psi gauges. Didn't leak during use. Will buy several more for Xmas presents for peers. 👍👍

I'm likin' mine also - haven't found a valve yet that it won't access.  Used it to check the pressure in my blue bladder tank on the coach.  My tank is under the bathroom sink and I have about 1" of space to get the air chuck on the valve stem.  Worked perfect!

Think I will make a vertical storage holder/mount. Have the handle stow behind the jack. Mount that next to the spare tire swing mount. Have it lock in place when closed, release when opened. So many projects, so little time. lol
For what it's worth Im really impressed on how well that jack looks and works. Ive never said that about any Harbor Freight item before. Reviews are really good also.

Photo is just a starting example

Just contacted manufacturer for warrantee. No longer seals when installed. Hopefully they will send out several seals to rebuild. Probably over use over the past years of use.

Couple years ago I bought a really nice digital tire inflator, then the gasket kept falling off. Contacted them asking for a new part and they sent me a complete new inflator. Still have it and using both.
Don't know how some company's stay in business with great support like this but I like it.
