Re: Engine door nylon rollers Reply #20 – February 24, 2021, 03:23:23 pm Quote from: bpal – February 24, 2021, 11:41:01 amThanks for the offer Scott. I'll chuck them up on my wood lathe to drill and touch up any diameter adjustment. It should be sufficient for the precision necessary on these pieces. Hopefully I'll get time this evening to try it out. My shop and additional equipment I have in storage is primarily for woodworking. I've always had some interest in having metal working capabilities but I'm limited to basic chop/bandsaw/drill/Mig welding.I figured you had it figured out. Still a open invitation if some one needs a little help. Not a problemScott Quote Selected
Re: Engine door nylon rollers Reply #21 – February 24, 2021, 08:25:13 pm The material from Mcmaster-Carr worked out well. One stick made 6 bushings and it turns out that my generator door setup does not use a similar setup. I'll hold on to my 2nd full stick of material for another project but I have 2 extra sets. If you need a set and don't have the means to make them yourself, send me PM and I'll mail a set to the first 2 requesters. Quote Selected
Re: Engine door nylon rollers Reply #22 – February 24, 2021, 09:27:20 pm How much did FT Parts quote that was so high that it was worth going to all this work? When I replaced mine I bought a spare, which I wouldn't have done if they were horribly expensive. Quote Selected

Scott cut a stick for me earlier this year. If your going to have Scott cut/drill it you may want to have it shipped to him then he can ship it to you in a small priority mail box, 6 pieces will fit in 1 box.Keith Quote Selected
Re: Engine door nylon rollers Reply #36 – July 13, 2021, 09:42:28 am Once we figure out how much stock we need I will order additional stock as needed. I would prefer to make them all up at once rather than six different runs. Not a problem. Each coach will need 4 each so I should have enough stock coming for three coach sets. Thank you Glenn. I'll order additional four feet (six coach sets) and based on what Glenn said it sounds like $17 a set shipped to your addressScottPlease pm me if you have interest in a set. Quote Selected
Re: Engine door nylon rollers Reply #38 – July 14, 2021, 08:20:21 pm Scott,I would like a set. I think I just need two for my bottom latches on the engine door. My generator door does not use them.Rich Quote Selected
