Replacement key FOB

I only have one of these FOB's, and if you jiggle the keys, sometimes the lights will flash like it's telling the system to do something.  I want a spare anyway, so I'll buy two and keep this one as a backup.

First, where do I find these guys?

Second, does anyone have the programming manual?

There's no identifying info in the 2003 parts manual.  You might try FOT.

Keith, in 2019 when I bought the coach I called FOT they did not have fobs then. They sold me a replacement module to retrofit with 1 yes 1 key fob! I found another fob on Amazon but could not get it to program. But you know how I am in that respect. Jim.

Well bummer.  I guess I'll start with trying to find the module it talks to, to see what identifying marks I can get off that.  I'm guessing it's with all the relays and fuses behind the panel in front of the passenger seat.  I'll investigate this weekend.

There are several threads on replacing the OEM remote locking system.  It might be easier to buy a new system with two key fobs than to find a single replacement and reprogram it.  The replacement is pretty straight forward.  My module is located behind the front passenger panel on the right hand side.

I recently tried to find a replacement that had a different shape and was told that wouldn't be possible.

I found this old thread that shows the system I have (SCS Frigette SCS-RKE 3D).  I have the full manual in my paperwork as well, but no mention about the remote other than programming.  Programming a new key FOB

Looking at the FOB, it's a G57KTX318 3-button.  These seem hard to find nowadays.  All info I found shows them to be in the 315MHz band.

I bought a pair from Amazon, but they will not program.  I'm guessing even though they are "315 Mhz", they are not the correct frequency.  The two originals still work, so I guess I have those for now.  Still looking for another solution.
